Lady Gaga has been making the news in a big way recently, with Singaporean youths putting on Gaga-themed outfits to win tickets at a recent showcase.

Even the 'Fun Pack Song', a ditty written up for this year's National Day Parade borrows the tune from Gaga's hit single Bad Romance. The song was generally poorly received by Singaporeans, after videos of the parade rehearsals went online.

The STOMPer commented:

"Recently I am quite upset about the reports in the newspapers on Lady Gaga.

"The newspapers have recently touched on a lot about her, many carrying her outrageous pictures.

"They seem to be sending a message that they are very interested in Lady Gaga and she is someone important to take note of.

"But for me, Lady Gaga is crazy and she is not a good influence to our people. Actually there are a lot of negative comments about her.

"For me it is true that she has a beautiful voice, BUT she has ruined it by being ugly and weird.

"She has a ungodly appearance and a lot of her songs are ungodly, against moral principles.

"For example, here are some quotes from her popular song 'Bad Romance':

"I want your ugly, I want your disease
I want your love, and I want your revenge
I want your horror, I want your design 'cause you are a criminal as long as you're mine
I want your psycho. I want your vertical stick

"For me, I do not want Singaporeans especially the youth to get the wrong message from her.

"Newspapers carry a great impact on people's moral thinking, so please do not report so much about her, unless you are disapproving of her ugly outfit or ungodly message.

"I also want to comment that it is not nice to put Lady Gaga's ugly picture on the front page of the newspaper.

"Her outfit is simply ugly.

"The report that she recently wore a dress made from meat is disgusting.

"Reading that part of the paper made me feel sick. Why should the Straits Times give her a nice title like 'Queen Bee'?

"I look at myself in the mirror every day and I am sure I am more pretty than Lady Gaga (as she is now)!!! Because my beauty is natural!!!"
