I remember reading many years ago in early 2000, they found a skeleton inside one of the columns of the bridge with a newspaper that dates back to the 60s. That fucker somehow fell inside and for 40+ years nobody knows about it. Everyday, countless people had been walking pass without realising that there was a dried corpse below.

Yes! I remember reading about this news .... But it was much earlier.. like the 80s when they were doing restoration works to the bridge. Then a few days later someone came forward and claimed it was his/her relative who went missing decades ago. The relative liked to drink around that area and it was speculated he wandered into the column and passed out inside. If course nothing was proven

That fucker's life must be damn boring and pathetic. Too bad no Sammyboy forum existed back then. Otherwise, he could be one of the active forumners here and would not have met with such a tragic end.
 
These days you will find only tourists and weekend Bangla/maid couples on that bridge. And the occasional hardcore jogger or cyclist crossing over to the other side of the river.
