Dairy farmers dumping milk as demand drops

Some Ontario dairy farmers have been told to dump their excess milk, as COVID-19 closures have caused the demand for dairy products to drop drastically.

With schools, hotels, restaurants and coffee shops now closed, the commercial sales of key dairy products, including cream, butter and milk, that set the pace for production have ground to a halt.

Well at least we know that if there is a shortage of food we could always drink milk to sustain. Till the grass for the cows runs out.

Why throw away the milk? Sell it cheap to be used for milk baths. Farm fresh milk bath in the comforts of your own home.

All this for an infection that has a mortality rate no worse than a bad flu year. It's criminal.

actually.....maybe those cheese producers can take the milk for free and make cheese?
much of milk is too watery. can add salt to fatty milk, cover with cloth, and let it coagulate. and squeeze water out to make cheap cottage cheese. can also turn milk into yogurt and refrigerate it. good cheese like brie is made from cream.

this wikihow link is great.
