i dunno about u, but i think the gov has auto-rights to harvest any of my organs should i be brain-dead or coma in an accident.

i dun remember pledging my organs. a pal told me that the cunning gov was very devious. they devised an AUTO-OPT OUT, i.e, if u dun wanna pledge u must fill opt-out form and return post to wherever it came from.

my li'l brother leetahsar had shown me a very sad video where a crying and pleading mum couldn't prevent her comatose 40+ son from forcefully having his organs removed - harvested for transplant. and he wasn't really dead yet.

could someone post the video here? thank you.

how can i reverse this unfair evil pledge? can someone initiate a PETITION to rescind what we didn't pledge to HOTAS?

this was another separate case of organs robbery by the gov. it's scary! something has to be done to it before the next sad scenario happens :(

Victim to be cremated today
Sent off in his wedding best

One of the three victims from the hit-and-run accident in Bukit Panjang on 15 Dec will be cremated today at the Mandai Crematorium, after he died on Christmas Day.

Mr Tong Kok Wai, 30, was left unconscious with serious head injuries after the accident, and never regained consciousness.

During his hospital stay, his wife Madam Yenny Young - whom he married three weeks before the accident - and his family never gave up hope. She showed him photographs of their wedding dinner, which she described in great detail to her husband.

Madam Young said health officers were supposed to remove Mr Tong's organs under the Human Organ Transplant Act (Hota) on the night of 18 Dec, after he was certified brain dead by doctors.

But his family asked for an extension, "just in case there really was a miracle", and he was kept on life support until 25 Dec.
