SINGAPORE - Special testing operations for staff and tenants who work in parts of Redhill and Tiong Bahru will be conducted from Friday (June 18), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Thursday (June 17) night.

The testing operation comes as more cases were confirmed in the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood on Thursday, including one that was unlinked.

The swabbing operation is therefore meant to detect and curb any community transmission, said MOH.

"MOH is investigating cases of Covid-19 infection among individuals who work in or visited 78, 79, 80, 84 and 85 Redhill Lane, 86 Redhill Close, 18 Jalan Membina and Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu Coffeeshop (56 Eng Hoon Street).

"In order to disrupt any wider, undetected community transmission, we will conduct special testing operations for all staff and tenants who have been working at these premises, " said the ministry.

There were 17 more people added to the Bukit Merah View food centre cluster on Thursday night (June 17), most of whom work at the food centre or are their family members, said the ministry.




Linked cases in the cluster include a 73-year-old female Singaporean who works as a stall assistant at Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu (56 Eng Hoon Street).

She is a family member and household contact of a cleaner who tested positive on Sunday, and the workplace contact of another stall assistant who tested positive for the virus on Thursday.

She was quarantined and tested on Monday. On the same day, her test result came back positive for Covid-19 infection. Her serology test result is pending.

She had received her first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on March 6, and the second dose on March 27.


My comment: So this poisonous vaccine is useless against the virus. Fully vaccinated with nanites in your body for future potential problems in your health and life and yet offer no protection against the virus?

She was tested for Covid-19 on Tuesday as part of the hospital’s surveillance testing for staff. Her test result came back positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday. On the same day, she developed a sore throat and blocked nose.

She received her first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Feb 1 and the second dose on Feb 24. Her serology test result is pending.

Another phua chu kang brainwashed get vaccinated and then contracted the virus. Mask and vaccine can't protect you.

Two of her family members, a 62-year-old homemaker and a 10-year-old student also tested positive on Wednesday.

If you recall in Oct last year Trump, Melania and many in his inner circle tested positive for Covid some had symptoms while the majority were asymptomatic. Reports indicated that up to 40 had been infected. Many were old farts.

NOT A SINGLE ONE DIED. There were no vaccines at the time.

There is an effective treatment out there that is way better than a vaccine. However the information is being heavily suppressed for obvious reasons. The pharma companies need to get their just dues and many are clipping the ticket along the way.

Just 154 out of more than 200,000 people to have received both coronavirus vaccines subsequently tested positive for the disease, a major study has found.

An Office for National Statistics (ONS) infection survey, carried out between 1 December last year and 31 May, found 154 adults out of 210,918 to receive two jabs went on to be infected.

That’s 0.07%.

The study was based on AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines, which account for the vast majority administered in the UK.

Data also showed how infections plummeted four weeks after the first dose, as demonstrated by the below chart.

The study was carried out over a time period when the Alpha variant, first identified in Kent, was dominant in the UK. It has now been overtaken by the Delta variant, first identified in India.

However, Public Health England revealed on Monday the continued high effectiveness of the vaccines against symptomatic disease (about 80%) and hospitalisations (about 94%) from the Delta variant after two doses.


As a result, the ONS figures can still offer Boris Johnson vindication for his decision earlier this week to delay the end of England's lockdown until 19 July.

Johnson paused the unlocking, originally planned for Monday, due to the spread of the 60% more infectious Delta variant, which could have killed thousands more people if all restrictions were dropped.

The prime minister said a four-week delay would allow for more people to receive a second jab and gain the maximum possible protection from the virus.

Data have shown one vaccine dose provides only limited effectiveness of between 26% and 40% against symptomatic cases of Delta variant COVID-19.

As of Tuesday, the latest date for which figures are available, 42.2% of UK adults – more than 20 million people – had not received a second dose.

The government is aiming to have double jabbed 34 million people, or two-thirds of the adult population, by the end of July. The figure currently stands at 30,440,373.
