Burst water pipe causes flooding in some restaurants in Changi Airport's T2

SINGAPORE - A Chinese restaurant in Changi Airport Terminal 2 had to send away half of its customers after a burst water pipe affected its operations on Friday evening, said a customer who tipped off The Straits Times.

The caller, Mr Ronald Sng, said he was dining at Crystal Jade at around 8.30pm when water gushed into the restaurant. The lights also went off momentarily, he said.

A member of the staff told him a water pipe had burst which caused the flooding.

He said apart from Crystal Jade, Paradise Inn and Sakae Sushi were also affected. The three restaurants were located on level two of Terminal Two.
