Lately, a guy from Canon Singapore attained fame for the wrong reasons for calling the state to grant him permission to open fire at a certain group of Singaporeans. Given the context, that "I am an NS man", and thereafter seeking permission to open fire scared the shit out of a lot of netizens. At least, 3 police reports were made. People the world over were upset that a "training and development consultant" in a learning department of an MNC company, Canon Singapore could be so alarmist. It didn't help that Bryan Lim worked as an MOE teacher for 4 years before he joined Canon. What's causing this growing syndrome of an educated man (from VJC, NUS) to have such vile words? What causes this 'Bryan Lim syndrome' these days?

If they did, you get the message that the govt is bias and there you got the answer why some people are more protected than the others. It is not an individual sydrome, it is the govt's syndrome that can be exploited by individual to bully minority?
