SINGAPORE: Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Lim Swee Say is on a 3-day visit to Brunei Darussalam till 16 September.

Mr Lim is there at the invitation of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin to attend the Sultan's 67th birthday celebration on 15 September.


Mr Lim, who had an audience with the Sultan, conveyed birthday congratulations from Singapore's leaders to the Sultan, and reaffirmed the longstanding friendship and close ties between Singapore and Brunei.


Mr Lim attended the Royal Guard of Honour Ceremony and the Investiture Ceremony earlier Sunday and will attend the Royal Banquet later Sunday.


Mr Lim also met with some members of the Singaporean community who are working in the private sector in Brunei.
