A SUSPECTED drug trafficker and his sister were arrested by Central Narcotic Bureau (CNB) officers in a raid on Wednesday. The officers raided a flat in Serangoon Road at around 4pm after receiving information that the 43-year-old man had replenished a drug consignment from his supplier based in a neighbouring country. He was assisted by his sister, aged 38. Both of them are unemployed. CNB officers seized a total of 1.1kg of heroin No. 3, 187 grams of Ice, 3,942 Erimin-5 tablets, 37 Ecstasy tablets from the apartment that was used as a drug store. Nearly $5,000 in cash were also seized. The duo will be investigated for drug trafficking under the Misuse of Drugs Act. If convicted, they may face the death penalty.
