Dear Honorable WP Chief and WP MPs and candidates and friends,
Well done. Try not to respond to any PAP-- nonsense about WP- TC issue.
Worst to worst , tell the voters loud –“the PAP has nothing to talk about , they(PAP) are not prepared for the GE except hoping to win your votes amidst the SG 50 and smearing oppo parties . Tell the voters GE is more than that, it is about living costs among other things that affect livelihood from cradle to grave. Tell the audience and in turn, tell their friends and relatives to cast their votes wisely.
Ok , lets come back East Coast GRC.
Perhaps , among other issues, Mr Giam may want to take note that Manpower issues and wages will be more relevant to tip votes.
Examples--Look at many jobs at the airport, there are many jobs that can be done by the locals if they paid a decent salary, why so many ‘S or E passes” are given to foreigners .
Mr Giam, you know foreigners can tug on the pittance but the exchange rate can make them rich back home a few years after working in Singapore. This is the feedback from the ground. You put my words simply in a good manner, you will nail heads. Low salary for foreigners will depress the local wages—this is a sad truth which the ground is talking .
Now , a stone's throw away, we arrive at Marine Parade .
Of course Mr Yee knows Joo chiat is gerrymandered into MP . You know, voters voted for Charles Chong but he abandons his voters to contest at Punggol East. Mr Yee can comfortably tell the joo chiat voters that you stay behind for all the voters at Joo Chiat, so ask voters to give you a chance. You touch the hearts of joo chiat, you get to eat peranakan cakes . Mr Yee, a dose of bahasa to win the baba elderly is also crucial you know.
A pain in the neck ---Wooden will go all out to smear the WP when his battle at MP is conking out. Nevermind, you remember the swiss standard living, read up what is swiss standard living and then, ask the voters who in Singapore are living a swiss standard when we have to suggest a minimum wage in the first world Singapore. LOL right !
Talk passionately about swiss standard of living would tame an old lion right ?
Also , another thing, you may realize MP town got a lot private properties and condos. Those living inside these estates pay personal taxes, pay GST , pay property taxes. But when comes to GST vouchers, they have none to talk about. Though GST vouchers may be trivial, govt should be fair and equal to all because GST is paid by everybody in Singapore right !
Mr Yee, a little thing bites and a few votes tip ! You are good at putting arrows in the bull eye, Right?
We wish Mr Giam and Mr Yee all the best . Oh, We miss out something---GE is about stability but of course voters are excited about voting, So what is the difference between too excited to vote for stability. Somebody talks cock right !
Oh Yeah, nearly forget something----who endorsed the 6.9 million white paper, Mr Yee, you know what to do already right ? Because this question wins you another 5% votes !
We wait to cheer for your victory, all the 28 seats !
