Break-in at Bendemeer market, 4 stalls affected

SINGAPORE: Four stalls at the market at Blk 29 Bendemeer Road were found broken into on Tuesday morning.
Police said they received a call for assistance at 9am.
Channel NewsAsia understands that containers with loose change had been stolen from the affected stalls.
A stall owner who was not affected by the break-in told Channel NewsAsia that it appeared that the burglars had climbed over the metal grilles to break open drawers and other belongings in the stalls.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
