新界北總區交通部特遣隊一名警署警長(俗稱士沙)，今日(12日)凌晨2時許，駕駛電單車巡至屯門公路往屯門方向近屯門閣，發現一輛黑色平治房車有可疑，於是示意停車接受檢查，惟司機未有理會，反加速逃走，雙方展開追逐，平治駛入友愛邨多層停車場。士沙趕至停車場閘口位時，發現房車有意駛離停車場，遂擎槍阻止，惟司機未有理會，繼續開車。期間士沙不慎跌倒，他立即起身，向房車左車尾連開3槍，其中1槍射中司機手部。司機負傷繼續開車，沿愛勇路駛出約50米後至邨口閘位，被增援趕至的警車迎頭閘停，司機一度開車逃走，撞毀邨口閘位欄杆，司機最終就擒。
事件中，疑犯左手中彈受傷，而開槍的士沙扭傷右手腕，2人俱送院治理。大批機動部隊警員到場搜尋彈頭，警犬奉召到場搜查車上有否違禁品。
據悉，涉事房車疑犯向友人借用。據運輸署資料，房車由一名姓鄭男子持有，報住葵涌公屋單位。東網記者今晨到車主寓所了解情況，車主胞姊稱凌晨有探員登門到訪，惟其弟正身處內地，他得悉事件後，立即趕返回港協助警方調查。胞姊又指，其弟有幫朋友「出牌」，而其弟本身任職司機，亦擁有一輛白色私家車。

凌晨二時許，警方在屯門公路往元朗方向追截一架可疑私家車，24歲法國籍男司機沒有理會，加速逃走。
駛入友愛邨停車場，一名警署警長在停車場出口拔槍戒備。約一分鐘後，涉事司機駛離停車場並意圖衝向警長，警長喝止無效，向私家車開了三槍。
開槍後，私家車未有即時停下，再駛前百多米，沿愛勇路駛出友愛邨，撞爛屋邨出口的車閘，最後被增援的警車截停。

[Now News] A police officer fired a gun in Tuen Mun. A police officer sergeant chased a suspicious private car. When he went to Tuen Mun You Ai Village, the driver attempted to drive to the sheriff.
