What's wrong with that? Talented people are at liberty to provide advice and leadership to as many organisations as possible. In fact, I'd be very disappointed if they didn't. Singapore would be worse off.

They are not corrupted! They have not colluded! And they did not practise nepotism!

Because they were given all these, therefore no need to because their corrupted, colluded & nepotism has been stopped by all these high pay!

Take it from ruling party members themselves.

Investors, if you want to come here and set up a business, be prepared to pay exorbitantly for management salaries. This will eat up into the budget for paying your workers, which will then slowly erode and corrode the morale of your workers.

The management talent in Singapore, as we all know is not really talented at all. Lousy at technical knowledge, excellent at politics, good in sucking up to the owners, unable to rally or motivate the employees.

You eventually will have to get expatriate managers to run the place for you. In the meantime your frontline workers get so bad a deal that turnaround rates will be so high so much so that productivity rates cannot improve but gets worse. You will close shop.

So save yourselve some trouble and invest where there are real talent.
