An argument between two men turned violent when one of them allegedly stabbed his flatmate in the chest. The disagreement may have been over 3-in-1 instant coffee mix.
Neighbours told The New Paper that the victim, known only as Ah Hua, 55, has been living in the second storey rental flat with Ah Guang in his 60s, for over a year.
Ah Hua was found lying half-naked in a pool of blood.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said that they received a call last Saturday at 6:51pm informing them about a man with injuries.
The man was later taken to Changi General Hospital. Police said investigations are ongoing.
