沈富雄表示新北、台中跟高雄三都可能通通都由國民黨拿下，但這並不代表國民黨的候選人厲害，而是因為全國人民已經累積了相當的怨氣，想要進行一場革命，於是選在此次年底大選發難。其實民進黨的候選人也都不差，指出民進黨的選情不佳是候選人們的非戰之罪。
他並以武昌起義的黎元洪來比喻韓國瑜、陳其邁和羅文嘉等人則類似當年梁啟超的戊戌四君子，表示武昌起義都要發動了，戊戌四君子此時也派不上用場。
沈富雄分析，韓國瑜到目前為止有些興奮過度，而不是一般人認為的累了；韓有時會講錯話但沒關係，因為革命號角響起，刀子一揮就贏了，要不然國民黨哪有這麼大的能耐。
沈再說明若選贏了並不是國民黨的功勞，認為目前國民黨的候選人也都明白這個道理，所以他們都表現出「非典型國民黨」的樣子，造勢活動時也希望國民黨大老可以不要出現。沈富雄還提議國民黨大老們若是要在造勢場合中現身，最好是感謝大家能給國民黨一個機會，承諾如果贏了一定會好好進行改造。
