A MAN paid with his life while trying to console a sulking wife who had locked herself in a room of a high-rise condominium block at KL Sentral, Metro Ahad reported.
The man, an Indonesian in his 30s, had tried to climb into the room from an adjoining balcony when he fell from the 36th floor, his wife told the police.
He died due to severe head injuries and police have categorised the fatality as "sudden death".
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid said from what the wife had told the police, the couple was going through a rough patch in their marriage. The report did not mention the nationality of the woman.
