Former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has faced a raft of criminal charges, but so far it has failed to do much damage to his political career.

But Berlusconi's luck could be about to change.

The Supreme Court is preparing to decide if the former prime minister is guilty of tax fraud.
