Bendera plans to shave and throw out all Malaysians
ANOTHER potentially dangerous situation is developing between Indonesia and Malaysia, with troublemakers in the republic fanning the flames of hatred.
It started with the Indonesian nationalist group Bendera throwing human faeces at the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta during a demonstration on Monday to protest against the detention of three Indonesian maritime officers last week.
The group has threatened to conduct a “sweeping” operation against Malaysians in Jakarta beginning today but Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman has appealed for good sense to prevail and for the group’s plans to be nipped in the bud.
In other developments:
Political parties across the divide joined hands in condemning Bendera’s provocative actions
Umno Youth handed over a protest note to the Indonesian Embassy
The MCA international bureau condemned the violent acts of Bendera, terming it as “totally unacceptable”
