Review of Dr Christopher Cheok Cheng Soon
Christopher Cheok Cheng Soon abused his psychiatric patients, medics and junior MOs while he was a doctor in SAF. He lacked compassion and deemed that NSFs were wasting his time and challenged them to kill themselves.
He was responsible for many suicide attempts during his tenure. He was only interested in high profile cases (including cover-ups) or newsworthy overseas mission to get promotions. Fortunately, his evilness was overshadowed by two other outstanding psychiatrists COL (Dr) John Wong and COL (Dr) Ang Yong Guan, during his time.
His hypocrisy continued after leaving SAF, and KTPH couldn't stand him. Later on, he got his way in IMH and character systematically whitewashed by media because he was trusted for "politics-related" and "army-related" cases. Nevertheless, mainstream peers in the field continue to disassociate from this unethical person.
