No it is not illegal to use this in Singapore.

Yes it works.

This product does not work when a policeman is aiming his camera at you. Only works when flash is used. And it is hopeless i bright days.

Effective on dark days and night only.

But please do not run red lights.

Yeah! It came out about 2 years ago in US..
