Seeking an arresting image to promote a special offer, a hairdressers in west London attracted more than just extra customers when it used a large poster of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, in its window.

When M&M Hair Academy in south Ealing put up the 1-metre-by-1.2-metre poster featuring Kim's distinctive short back and sides with longer centre parting and the words "Bad hair day?", they received a visit from disgruntled North Korean officials.

If this was in Sinkieland, SPF would arrest the barber.

right fully so, he better to arrested. trying to piss off the man who sentence his relative with death by hungry dogs. He better be afraid.
he also send his ex gf to firing squad after she appear in sexy dress in a dance video. dun offend such a person.

why not? the barber is an asshole. all these white man pinkerton syndrome tarsh thinks they can make fun of asian leaders. how come he does not put up a picture of the Queen or Obama with his bald patch??? Blardy coward and double standard which is racism actually. would not be surprise if NK agents do something to this racist barber.

I mean there is nothing wrong for the barber to put the poster. There are also posters of david Beckham or other celebrities..though the NK leader is done to poke fun. Asians have always been make fun anyway.

It has been confirmed that the death by dogs, death of gf by firing squad or compulsory hairstyle were all fake news out to poke fun at Nkorea by the South Korea and Western media.

That barber shop is in London, UK. It's none of North Korea's business to interfere.

It's Asians who have a psychological hangup and insist on revering their own countries' leaders.
They cannot take political satire or caricatures.

Had the barber put up a picture of the British Queen, no one would have batted an eyelid. In Thailand, if someone does a similar thing with the Thai King, it is lese majeste and all hell breaks loose.

Use the picture of Chairman Mao inappropriately in a news article (even if it's an honest mistake), and you lose your job.
