然而我们都知道，航母分为常规航母和核动力航母，常规航母的作战半径远远不如核动力航母，现在全球拥有打造核动力航母技术的国家只有两个一个是美国一个是法国，针对这点美国实施了技术封锁，各国要想研制出核动力航母只能自己动手，当然有可能的话，从美国进口到一艘核动力航母也是可行的。
如今美国有一艘7万吨的报废核动力航母，一直都不知道怎么处理，拆解的话成本又非常高，有数据统计，要想将这艘航母肢解至少要花14亿美元，其中人工费用就花了三分之二，代价实在是太高了，所以对于该核动力航母怎么处理的问题，让美国非常头疼，对此美智库提出了一个建议，那就是考虑卖给我们。
美智库认为，现在我们缺乏打造核动力航母的技术，对于它应该是有想法的，只要将上面的核心技术拆除就行了，而且再加上我们的人工费用低廉，就算买来拆解掉也是不亏的。然而这个建议并没有被落实，因此美国太过于惧怕我们崛起了，要是将核动力航母给我们，依靠我们强大的仿制能力，极有可能打造出真正的核动力航母。
