Bank robber flees with B800,000 - Thailand

An armed bank robber made off with more than 800,000 baht in cash on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The robber, wearing a dark gray jacket and a motorcycle helmet, entered the Kasikorn Bank branch at the Lat Krabang Industrial Estate, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.

After the man put more than 800,000 baht into his bag, he took off on a red-black Yahama Mio motorcycle.

Police were still searching for the robber.
