A 10-year-old in Massachusetts left devastated when hackers raided an account she had set up to help sick children has vowed not to let the robbery stop her from raising money.Noelle Gregoire suffers from dysplastic spondylolisthesis, a rare and debilitating spinal condition that requires her to wear a neck brace and makes most physical activity difficult.Regularly undergoing procedures at Tufts Floating Hospital in Boston, she is often taken to the 'toy closet' at the hospital to make her feel better.Two years ago, Noelle decided she wanted to do what she could to donate toys to the closet herself so that other children are as fortunate as she is.

'She knows what it feels like to be that kid, to get that toy,' Noelle's mother, Danielle Gregoire, told My Fox Boston.'And she has that compassion and empathy that most kids don't because of what she's been through.'Since swimming is the only activity that doesn't cause Noelle intense pain, she started a charity, Laps 4 Backs, and would swim laps across a New Hampshire lake to raise money.Since starting the charity, Noelle has donated 'several thousand dollars worth of toys to Tufts', according to her mother.

However when Noelle and her mom went to go on another shopping spree recently, they were aghast to realize the money in the account - about $200 - was gone.Thieves had taken it and gone on an Amazon shopping spree.
'There was seven dollars left, there was nothing left,' Danielle said. 'The look on her face - that was the worst part - to see the devastation on her face that it was gone.' But Noelle has refused to give up on Laps 4 Backs.

She has now filed for fraud protection and started a GoFundMe account to recuperate the money.The page shared pictures of Noelle's donations, and how she has delivered up to $4,000 worth of toys to the hospital at a time.With a goal set for $5,000, she had raised almost $6,000 as of Tuesday.
'I don't think I could ever understand her spirit, because it doesn't matter what it is, nothing defeats her,' Danielle Gregoire said.
