Neotame has a similar structure to aspartame, the chemicals used in its manufacturing process seem to make the sweetener even more toxic than aspartame.

Both aspartame and Neotame are made up of substances which metabolize into a highly toxic poison known as formaldehyde. In addition, they contain an exctiotoxic amino acid that agitates, thereby damaging nerves. Although very similar to aspartame in chemical structure, Neotame has one chemical added that aspartame does not possess – 3-dimethylbutyl, which just so happens to be on the Environmental Protection Agency’s most hazardous chemical list.

Don't think I've come across neotame before. What kind of foods do they usually add it to:confused:

The craze about sugar-free food and artificial sweeteners originated in America, a land of obese fatfucks who don't exercise, and think that a 'Diet' coke will balance out the large fries when dining at McDonald's.

Donald Rumsfeld had a love affair with Aspartame. Why not? There's plenty of money to be made.

Just around 2000 CE, at my workplace pantry I made a cup of coffee at break. We ran out of sugar, so I used a packet of Nutrasweet to add to my cuppa. Half an hour later, hives (some kind of rash) broke out all over my body and it itched like crazy. I had to excuse myself from work that day and went straight to the doctor. My body was red all over and it was unbearable. Doctor gave me a jab and some pills and I went home to rest.

That one experience was bad enough. I don't need those sweeteners. If there is no sugar, I'll take it without the sugar. Nowadays, I've grown used to coffee without sugar.

If it ain't natural, be cautious.

Cheers!

No. I didn't. I should make it a point to check the packet/bottle everytime I consume something. Thanks.

Cheers!
