SINGAPORE: The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) said on Sunday (Mar 3) it was investigating a case of a dead rat found in a bag of rice.

The incident came to light when Facebook user Vegnesh Jodimani shared a photo of the dead rodent, which he said had been in a bag of House Brand basmati rice from Sheng Siong supermarket.

The rice's packaging states 'Sophisticated taste', can't get more sophisticated than rat meat.

ACRES & SPCA should also investigate on animal cruelty grounds....

House brand is shitskin company

Most of basmati rice comes from shitskin countries. Some cultivated basmatic rice in USA, but nothing beats the real McCoy from the motherland.

Same as Thai rice and Japanese rice, and their 'transplanted' imitations found in Australia.
