SINGAPORE: Cereals are the latest type of China-made products to be released for sale with immediate effect.
They fall under the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority's (AVA) low-risk category which also includes butter, ghee and non-dairy creamer. These products were released for sale on Tuesday.
The AVA said in a statement that it would now embark on testing products in Phase Two, which include items like bread, cake, chocolate, biscuits and candies.
Members of the public can visit AVA's website at www.ava.gov.sg for updates on the category of products released.
