Serious Aussie 60 minutes - SQ321 flew straight into a storm! Samsters can guess???

I have noticed that civilian planes fly very low above Sinkieland, even when the weather/visibility is good and there is no landing site nearby.

Is this to save on fuel or due to new pilot training or some other reason? :unsure:
