Dear brothers and sisters,

Is Singapore Attorney General Chambers are very kind and compassionate until they had to withdraw 14 charges against MDA Lai Wai Khuen?

what are the motives behind the withdral of 14 charges?

The prosecution withdrew 14 charges against Lai, who was acquitted of them. -

Withdrawal of charges doesnt necessarily mean acquittal. Maybe police warning in lieu of prosecution. Could also be lack of evidence after review. Btw, what charges?

There is no corruption in the civil service. Believe in it.

how can it be lack of evidence? CPIB Teng Keng Fatt is an old bird and when he submitted a stack of files to AGC, that is evidence!!!

The withdrawal could mean that they did not find enough evidence to support their claims.
Disgraceful. Like kids' playing.

One of the witnesses could be from Leegime family and lan lah kangaroo court must obey.

It's interesting that the PIMP (Papzi Installed Media and Press) gave prominence to this acquittal. In the following case, the arraignment received front page coverage, complete with photo. Despite lures to plead guilty, the accused refused and was eventually acquitted. That acquittal was NOT even mentioned in the PIMP.

And of course, TS is guilty of selective reporting by ignoring the fact that Mr Lai has been convicted of others and also had other charges taken into consideration.
