ATM dragged out of bank by crooks

KULAIJAYA: An ATM machine was dragged out of a bank in Jalan Pasar here by a black 4WD and carried away in another vehicle in the wee hours of Friday.
The incident took place at between 2.30am and 2.45am and was believed to involve five suspects.
CCTV footage showed that the thieves used the 4WD to drag the ATM out of the premises into the corridor, before two suspects wearing gloves loaded it into a white MPV before fleeing.
Kulaijaya OCPD Supt Zulkefly Yahya said that the amount of money in the stolen machine had yet to be determined.
He said that eight fingerprints have been derived from the scene and a black vest left behind the suspects has been taken for a DNA test.
