Woman, 32, couldn't pay for meal at Hong Kong eatery after phone dies, attacks police with knife & scissors

A 32-year-old woman from mainland China, surnamed Lau, has been arrested in Hong Kong after she became violent when she was allegedly unable to make payment at a noodle shop.
Why couldn't she make the payment? Because her phone had run out of battery.
According to Hong Kong media, the dramatic incident took place on the early morning of Jan. 3 along Lung Sum Avenue.
Attacked the police with a knife and scissors
CCTV and social media footage of the incident showed Lau rushing at the police, armed with riot shields, with a knife and scissors when they entered the shop.During the scuffle, she was seen attempting to slash an officer who lost his balance and was attempting to back away.
She was then subdued with the help of additional police officers who entered the shop from a different door, before being carried out.
She sustained injuries on her hands and was taken to hospital.
Lau also allegedly damaged a mobile phone while arguing with the store's staff.
The Hong Kong police was quoted as saying that they had received a report at 12:14am from store staff, claiming that the woman was emotionally agitated and threatening them over a minor dispute.
Facing charges of assaulting a police officer and possessing a weapon
Lau currently faces charges of possessing an offensive weapon, assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.She also remains in custody, with police investigations ongoing.
