Bus woes at 6.45am

I TAKE the 6.45am bus service 51 from Jurong East interchange every morning to school. Recently, I have noticed that the bus leaves the interchange only at 6.50am and I think this should be looked into. Students from various schools take this bus and if the bus driver is always late, we will be late for school.
For instance, on Monday, the 6.45am bus did not come and many people had to squeeze onto the next bus, a single-decker, which left at 7am. Because the previous bus did not arrive, many students were late for school. Some of us students were given detention after school. Luckily, two teachers who were on the bus explained what happened and we were let off.
If buses can leave the interchange on time during peak hours, why can't they do so at other times?
