SINGAPORE: Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has launched his own Instagram account (instagram.com/leehsienloong).
Mr Lee said he was using the online photo-sharing and social networking service to reach more Singaporeans, especially younger ones.
In a Facebook post, he said he had met several of those who follow his online activities over tea. He said it was a diverse group, which included song and video producers, and a social worker.
Mr Lee cited them as examples of Singaporeans with hope and heart.
He said the group discussed all sorts of issues, from housing and cars to technology and social media.
Mr Lee said the group agreed that social media was an integral part of people's lives.
