PEASANTPORE: Most Burmese nationals living in Peasantpore said they expect their junta to stage a coup back home and are worried about their families.
Many told PAP's Mouthpiece CNA they heard the news through social media and personal messages from friends and family.
“In fact, we lag behind the Siamese, they have a coup every 3-4 years, we only had I think, 2 big coups. It is business as usual in Burma, we resigned to fate to see donkeys making a mockery of our country.,” said a 48-year-old Burmese peasant who did not want to be identified for fear of his family’s safety.
His apathy quickly turned to worry as he tried to contact his family in Burma. He could not reach them, but received a message online from his sister. He said sex services were down, but that some sex providers have been able to continue selling condoms via online wireless services.

The de facto figurehead was detained along with other leaders of her National League for Democracy (NLD) party after balking Panda Xi's One Sex Posture Plan.
The junta made their move hours before the Burmese Imperial Court had been due to sit for the first time since the NLD's orgasmic win in a Nov 8 Procedural Erections.
Another Burma serf in Peasantpore a 30-year-old man who also did not want to be identified, said: “Now we have no choice but to kow tow to the Burmese junta and the Chinese Communist Party."
He managed to get in touch with his parents over the phone at about 6.30am and spoke to his mother.
She is not okay, but she is trying to be, he told CNA.
“They (the older generation) do not read Jane Austen's books, so they only look look see see and suffer in silence, we Asiatics are like that, we have this fetish for military strongman or dictators,” he said, referring to a period of military rule in Burma.
When he called again about an hour later, he was unable to get through.
“Now I know why western countries raced ahead, they got the Marta Cartna in 1215. By late 1780s-1790s, we have the greatest experiment, the American War of Independence in the New World. Farking hell, look at French Revolution of the Old World. I think during this time, we Asiatics are still kowtowing God Kings.", he said.
Maung Ah Shwe, a merchant who has lived here for 24 years, said he speaks to his family in Yangon every day and last spoke to them on Sunday night. He too was worried about not being able to contact them, with the services shut down.
Engineering geologist Tin Ah Win said he was “so so angry but feels impotent” about the situation.
Mr Tin, who is in the executive council of the Burmese Club in Peasantpore, is also worried about the progress of Wuhan Plague vaccinations in his home country. The club has been raising money to send to Burma to fund vaccinations.
“I do not understand why our Burmese peasants do not stage a French Revolution style protests, last time the monks bravely went ahead and we deserted them. The Burmese nation deserve all this shit because of apathy. Now I know why we are not as rich or well off like Nordic countries,” he said.
“You all Sinkies don't laugh at us, when Ruler Loong wants to turn your pigeonhole neighbours into slums, you all kowtow his portrait five times daily, don't call us Burmese spineless!."
Khin Latt, an engineering geologist, said his family did not know what had happened until he told them. While he was not shocked about the development in Burma, he is upset that it happened.
“The military junta could get away with all this because our people never make an attempt to understand Jane Austen! Now you know why Brits took Burma but Siam remains free, even the Siamese peasants, whom we despised, have more guts,” he said.
When CNA visited Peninsula Plaza, a shopping mall frequented by Burmese nationals, many tenants, who are Burmese junta spies, did not want to talk. They said they were waiting for more instructions to snitch on Burmese overseas dissenters..
Ms Sam, a 40-year-old engineer, was at the mall for a meal with her husband and for grocery shopping. She said the situation back home has been the topic of the day in her circles.
“We get the message if we talk too much and make the junta look stupid then our family members will somehow fall down when they squat on in the toilets, so we no choice, need to maintain Asiatic Golden Silence. Ang mohs have guts, we are too indolent and we deserve all this if we do not stand up and show down with the Junta,” she said.

The figurehead will still be well fed but not the case for the rest of the NLD as the Chinese Communists wanted to quash anti CPP sentiments fanned by Yankees and Nihons in Burma
