The police have arrested a 34 year-old man for suspected armed robbery in the vicinity of River Valley Road on November 4.
It is believed that the suspect had threatened his 29-year old female victim with a knife after she had provided him with massage services.
The suspect is also alleged to have threatened another female masseur at the same location. He is also suspected of taking their items, which included cash, mobile phone and travel documents.
In addition, he is believed to have molested one of the victims.
He will be charged on November 7 for armed robbery and outrage of modesty. If convicted, he faces a prison sentence of between three and 14 years, and be given 24 strokes of the cane.
