An armed conflict in Taiwan Straits is the most urgent geopolitical threat in 2H25.

With emerging social unrests, severe economic-slowdown and persistent shake-ups in Chinese military, it will be beneficial for the Chinese government to escalate tensions in Taiwan Straits between Sept - Dec of 2025; the hurricane season is largely over by China's National Day on October 1st.

Modern China has a long history of using external conflicts to consolidate powers within the government when the nation was in mess. Mao Zedong sent redundant troops and hungry orphans to participate in the Korean War and Deng Xiaoping invaded former ally Vietnam to consolidate his powers.

The current Chinese leadership and regime is in a precarious and weak state domestically. Amidst the meltdown in local real estate prices and surging youth unemployment, the Chinese leaders badly need an external conflict to shore up domestic support. It can be as simple as an takeover of Taiwan's Kinmen Islands that are just a few kilometers from China Mainland or slightly further Mazu Islands to consolidate their grip on Taiwan Straits.

Moreover, President Trump is certainly lukewarm towards participating in external conflicts.

Such calculated move, inspired by Russia's annexation of Crimea, would be ideal and highly unlikely to trigger a full-scale battle with United States from the opposite end of Pacific Ocean. Doing so, will also serve as a good gauge before implementing further invasion plans.

In all fairness, the core objective is just to score a win (eg. Kinmen, Mazu) and no Chinese leader will really want to jeopardize their throne to take over the whole Taiwan.

The rise of the orang asli to retake the island. At last orang asli leadership has come forward to right the wrong and bring justice back to islands wrongfully seized from their grasp.

Nest step is to insert a crescent of the moon on that flag.

According to recent news reports from May 2025, the Taiwanese government's executive body has updated its official website with revised demographic data. The latest figures show that
Indigenous residents comprise approximately **2.6%** of the registered population,
Mainlanders (waishengren) account for around **1.2%**.
The remaining **96.2%** of the population is categorized under the label "Others*".

Aiya, this sort of flat bitch also dare to pose. Get some silicone lah

What for? It's already conquered. Malays need to free it from this illegal occupation.
China sees Singapore as American agent in south east Asia and we are the only country in this region which is equipped with modern American weapons

Your views are quite erroneous. PRC knows Singapore, it's leadership, it's populace, it's culture and it's limitation.

Simply put, sinkies have no balls and guts to fight and die, not even for themselves. The recent election casts this shadow quite clearly.

When war is imminent or an enemy is approaching your area, a reliable early warning system can detect their activity from hundreds of kilometers away and an accurate missile guidance firing system. You can then wait for their assets to move closer within your engagement range. In such cases, the enemy is hit and may be unaware of the location of the incoming missile.

Malay girl is happy she's a Singaporean instead of Malaysian

Definitely proud to be Singaporean Malay instead of Malaysian. I'm proud of how far our country has come. A country with no natural resources yet we became one of the world’s leading financial centers. Our government is stable and might I say, honest too (especially compared to Malaysia). Our country is safe and clean. So much better than Malaysia in every way.

Another reason that isn't so common would be that I feel that I'm treated with more respect by Singaporean Malays compared to Malaysian Malays. You see, I am a non-hijabi not-so-religious Muslim girl, and I wear short sleeve blouses and short skirts sometimes. I have often been given dirty looks by Malays in Malaysia, especially outside the city, and its not such a great feeling. Here is an example: Me and my mother went to visit a surau (a room for muslims to do prayers in) in one of the lesser known shopping malls in JB. As you know, I don't want to wear the hijab. When I was inside the surau, I received some dirty looks from the older Malay women. As I was exiting the room, I heard one of the Malay ladies said ‘solat tapi tak nak pakai tudung’ which loosely means ‘she prays yet she doesn't want to wear a hijab’. I felt embarrassed of course, and I felt bad because my mom probably heard it. These days, I usually try not to visit the surau as I don't want to relive that experience again. In Singapore, non-hijabi Malay women are thankfully much more commonly seen, hence I don't receive any bad treatment from other muslims, which is one of the many reasons I'd much rather stay as a Singaporean Malay instead of being a Malaysian.
