This is how toothless our Union is. It is not by chance. It happens when at the top hierarchy, we have a Minister heading the Union. And the result is clear. The only time we are 'better' than the Australians is on the longer working hours.
Australia:
- 38 hours work week
- 28 days annual leave
- 2 days compassionate leave
- Long service leave
- Minimum wage
- Community service leave
- Redundancy Payment






Singapore:
- 44 hours work week
- 7 days annual leave
- NO compassionate leave
- NO long service leave
- NO minimum wage
- NO Community service leave
- NO redundancy payment

Where in the world is there a union head that makes $1 million plus bonsu? Only in sinkapore. Can such a person even understand the plight of workers who earn 40 times less than him?

Only fools believe that we have an UNION or unions here, but there are plenty of fools out there..especially the 60%. The worker's union during my days, fought hard, "tooth & nail" for our rights & our collective agreement, but they were infiltrated by the "whites"....who sold the "animal farms" "animals"..that " two legs bad, four legs good" & sold our comrades...that is from then, till now..I would not work in a place that has an union....especially ones of the "whities"....
