It is more ridiculous for people of the same religion trying to kill each other. The Shia and the Sunni Muslims get into a fight. The Shia prays to Allah to give him victory over the Sunni. Similarly, the Sunni prays to Allah to give him victory over the Shia. The same things happens in fights between the Catholic and the Protestants. Both pray to God for victory over the other.

It is really difficult to be Allah or God. Real dilemma - which side should he listen to? The best is probably to kill both sides and thereby answer all prayers.
