Desktop users, your time has come. The new Magic Trackpad is the first Multi-Touch trackpad designed to work with your Mac desktop computer. It uses the same Multi-Touch technology you love on the MacBook Pro. And it supports a full set of gestures, giving you a whole new way to control and interact with what’s on your screen. Swiping through pages online feels just like flipping through pages in a book or magazine. And inertial scrolling makes moving up and down a page more natural than ever. Magic Trackpad connects to your Mac via Bluetooth wireless technology. Use it in place of a mouse or in conjunction with one on any Mac computer — even a notebook.

Now, time to throw away your mouse?

this is the worse product apple have ever made.

i cannot think of another.

Same here, actually contemplating getting rid of my mouse for this. I'm sick of using mouse.

i wonder if it can use on non-mac laptop and desktop. or just only Mac. What is the price?

Driver out for Windows for bootcamp already. Rumours has it it would be available for windows in general soon like magic mouse. $99AUD here, not sure about SGD.

I thnk it's a cool product, but will it tires your fingers? Hmmmm.... Another innovative product from Apple :p

I‘ve used an MBP for a very long time now. I have a 2009 MBP with the glass trackpad. It is so convenient to use compared to a mouse. The problem I have with a mouse is that sometimes I drag a folder, window, across a different desktop in spaces. The mouse would go out of the mouse pad or ran out of room on the desk. With the trackpad you can use 2,3,4 finger gestering.
