The reason is obvious. They have not amassed millions of miles of video data needed for self driving via AI the way that Tesla has and there is no way they can catch up starting from zero base.

Neither can they match the advancement in battery technology that the chinks have achieved in the last decade. In fact they can't even get their watch to last more than 48 hours on a single charge.

Even Telsa cannot easily challenge BYD if the latter is not being banned in America. I saw momentary increase of BYD all over Singapore. and cater to both low and high-end sinkie users.

BYD has just as much catching up to do when it comes to AI powered self driving. They have zero data just like Apple.
