Chitchat anyone know how the speed camera work?

i alway believe our speed camera only point to lane 1(outermost right lane) .so if you speed at lane 2 0r lane 3, the speed camera will not capture.
reason because if a law abiding driver was driver at 90km/h at lane 2 vs a Pu Mor driver speeding at lane 1 of 120km/h, assuming both was captured to be in the frame of the camera. How the camera know which vehicle had sped?
moreover lane 2 , 3 ,4th are the slower moving vehicle lane.
