KNN! I can't make or receive calls from my phone since this morning. Was told by Singtel that my Xiaomi phone no longer support VOLTE and had to buy a new phone even though my phone is 4G. Serving internet no problem. Why like that?

it is true even in australia

the phone will not be able to use the 4G network when the 3G goes away.

Go to Far East Plaza and buy a cheap Android phone. They have Samsung, Oppo and Vivo etc.

If you are a Xiaomi fanboy and can't resist Xiaomi products, once in a while they have promotions and sales at their Xiaomi flagship stores e.g. Funan and Suntec. You can buy during those times.

Yes. Some China sim cards encountered similar problem although they are 4G.

Buy on 12.12 sale from tonight
only choose sealed local sets with proper warranty - not imported, telco sets, or display sets

imported sets: different features, eg. some got no eSIM, or no warranty (only seller's warranty, if you believe them)

telco sets: open-box units, shorter warranties. Might be display or used sets, sold as telco sets.

display sets: maybe shorter battery/screen lifespan

I go to a particular shitskin store near Tekka Market to buy my Xiaomi phones. I know the boss. He'll throw in free screen protector and casing.

The telco is saving cost by phasing out the old 3G infrastructure

PAP need to take back 3G frequency spectrum and sell it again to the biggest bidder.
