you're correct. nonetheless, can engage contractor to build piping and filtration system to vent greasy air outside (via the window). problem is dirty air will stain the window edges and walls outside. worse, as hot air rises, it will pollute the floors above. for the samsung infinite line system, the problem of hot dirty air sexhaust is compounded as there's no overhead hood in the kitchen. for the range or cook top, it uses a suction fan in the middle of range to suck in air to the bottom, much like in newer korean bbq restaurants where air is sucked downwards to a vent ducting system that is beneath the floor. but it still requires ducts to go out and up. if plastic duct cracks or gets clogged with grease beneath floor, it's sextremely costly to repair. for these built-in ovens in flats or condos, as i've pointed earlier, sexhaust air needs to vent behind and through ducts either on wall or in the wall, then to outside at the nearest opening such as a window.
