Anwar already fell for Najib's trick of acquittal. He is getting careless and cocky. And Najib knows his problems and had exploited that. When PKR / Anwar gets arrogant, Najib's chance increased dramatically.

Anwar's track records shows that he fails due to arrogance and carelessness when he gets very close to taking over BN. This is from which Najib analysed and learned and plotted the moves.
