STOMPer Kevin wants to remind fellow STOMPers that the 5% discount on Fairprice housebrand items has been removed since the end of 2009, and wonders if the economy is really better for all Singaporeans.

In the STOMPer's iPhone contribution:

"The next time you purchase a house brand from Fairprice, do compare prices.

"The 5% discount is no longer valid and may cost you more. Ouch!

"Are the bad times really over?"

They need to make more money quickly to pay their top executives' year end bonuses.

They mark up 10% or maybe 105% , gives you 5% rebates....their credit terms to suppliers is 120 days right & when it is time to pay, they will discount all trade returns...

What is a 5% rebate???
