Singapore's longest-serving Attorney-General, Mr Tan Boon Teik, has died at the age of 83.

His daughter Sui Lin said he collapsed on Saturday morning after suffering from internal bleeding.

'His death came as a shock and was very sudden,' she said.

Mr Tan had also been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for the last 15 years.
