KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Four gold traders from Genneva Sdn Bhd walked free today after being acquitted of 224 counts of money laundering and illegal deposit-taking said to be worth over RM141 million.

Sessions Court judge Rozana Ali Yusof ruled that the accused — directors Datuk Ng Poh Weng, 63, Datuk Marcus Yee Yuen Seng, 61, Datuk Chin Wai Leong, 37, and former director Liew Chee Wah, 59 — had conducted a genuine gold trading business.

Somehow I doubt that it is only a Malaysia thing. If it happened in Spore & the PAP MPs were involved, it wouldn't even become a court case. It would be buried & not see the light of day.

Our PAP MPs wouldn't be interested in wasting their time in petty stuff. They have bigger fishes to fry e.g. AIMgate

For the smaller stuff it's their minions who are likely to be involved e.g. golden tap guy, brompton gate, office chair gate,...

True. What is happening with Con Hee case is good example....it's a scam in another form...to dupe dumb gullible greedy people.....and in these mega churches scams, you dun even get to see the physical gold.
