American furniture and homeware brand Crate and Barrel has announced it will be closing its flagship store in Singapore.

The outlet at Orchard Gateway @ Emerald, which first opened its doors to the public five years ago, will remain in operation till Nov 10.

same thing in u.s. cannot survive for old school retail. not only furniture and domestic goods stores that require much space, eateries and restaurants are also closing at record rate. however, although commercial (retail) rent is high in sillycon valley across all counties, nail spas and massage parlors continue to thrive. the entire valley is becumming a fuck shop with bikini cafes and tittie bars all over.
