[h=1]Police investigating accident involving motorcyclist and SMRT bus[/h]

<!--start of story text-->A motorcyclist was involved in an accident with an SMRT bus on Saturday.
This happened at the traffic junction of Bukit Batok East Avenue 2 and 6 at 8.30am. The bus, with 35 passengers on board, was Service 61, heading towards Eunos Interchange.
SMRT's control centre was alerted and activated its field team, an ambulance and the police to give assistance.
A police spokesman said the motorcyclist was sent to the National University Hospital at 9am
