The Israeli government on Sunday said it has been hit with more than 44 million cyberattacks
since it began aerial strikes on Gaza last week. Anonymous, the hacker collective, claimed
responsibility for taking down some sites and leaking passwords because of what it calls Israel's
"barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment" of Palestinians.

There is some dispute about the effectiveness of the cyberattacks. Israel says the attacks have
largely been unsuccessful so far.

A page associated with Anonymous also posted a new threat: "November 2012 will be a month
to remember for the (Israel Defense Forces) and Internet security forces. Israeli Gov. this is/
will turn into a cyberwar.
"

Some observers took this as a sign of an escalating digital battle.

Those morons are no match for the brilliant Jews.

How is this cyberwar fought? With rep points and power and zapping like in here?

anonymous shld just stick to catching kiddy pornsters. they recently trying to rebrand themselves taking up "noble" causes.

I think they would be more successful in making porn. They can still take revenge by making sure the actress are Israelis and the actor are Muslims. At least the act will end up happy with eveyone sexisfied.
